Working Principle
REYES MACHINERY decanter centrifuges operate on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. The horizontal bowl and screw conveyor rotate at high speeds (with a slight differential speed). Feed slurry enters the rotating bowl, where centrifugal force pushes heavier solids to the bowl wall. The screw conveyor transports settled solids to the conical discharge end, while clarified liquid flows out from the liquid outlet.
This continuous process ensures stable separation, dry solid discharge, and clear liquid output, ideal for large-volume industrial processing.
